elgooG

Hey guys i found this phunnny thing while looking for proxy servers.. Well as all of u know Google was banned in China.. due to some stupid problems.. But when the rules are made, certainly a many ways are made to break them. So the concept of “elgooG” came.. Its Google in reverse..

Google

This search engine does all the searches just like google only thing is tat.. It does everything in reverse.. the search strings have to be typed in reverse :)

The Informational Distance Between Cities

Information Aesthetics points to an interesting visualization of the “informational” relation between cities. Two cities are “informationally” related if they are often mentioned together, so the visualization uses the number of Google results to approximate the distance:
Gdistance(w1,w2) = (#(w1)+#(w2)) / (#(w1+” and “+w2)+#(w2+” and “+w1)),
where #(w) is the number of Google search results for the query w enclosed in quotes.

This approximation could be improved by replacing “and” with “*”, so that the words aren’t necessarily separated by the conjunction “and”. The Google distance is multiplied with the physical distance between cities to increase the connection between cities that are far away.

http://www.bestiario.org/research/citydistances/

Among the cities that have a small “informational” distance: London and New York, Tokio and Sydney, London and Singapore City.

Another way you can use the number of Google results is to calculate the mindshare of a word or name within a domain. If you divide the number of search results for [nokia mobile phone] by the number of results for [mobile phone] you can find Nokia’s Googleshare within the mobile space.

Dil ke pass

Some songs really attract your attention in first hearing… and love for it increases every time u hear it..

thats wat i feel for this song…

“Seedhe Shadhe Dhang Se”

Main Seedhe Saadhe Dhang Se, Kehta Hoon Aapni Baat

Ek Ghar Basaane Chahata Hoon, Main Tumhare Saat

( Kya Doogi Mere Haathon Mein Bolo Tum Aapna Haath ) – 2

Main Seedhe Saadhe Dhang Se, Kehta Hoon Aapni Baat

Ek Ghar Basaane Chahata Hoon, Main Tumhare Saath

( Kya Doogi Mere Haathon Mein Bolo Tum Aapna Haath ) – 2

Khushiyon Se Ghar Ko Sajaoonga Hamesha

Dastar Se Bhi Main Waqt Pe Aaonga Hamesha

Laoonga Main Thode Taaza Phool Bhi

Karoonga Main Puri Har Khushi

Maanoonga Main Manoonga, Manoonga Har Ek Baat

Kya Doogi Mere Haathon Mein Bolo Tum Aapna Haath

Main Seedhe Saadhe Dhang Se, Kehta Hoon Aapni Baat

Chanda Aur Sitare Laoonga Teri Khatir

Tum Joh Kaho Main Woh Gaoonga Teri Khatir

Chalo Yeh Bhi Tumse Vaada Hai Mera Chahoonga Main Tumhe Toot Ke

Jitna Satao Ya Rulao Jaaonga Na Kahin Rooth Ke

Aaonga Main Aaonga, Aaonga Tere Pass

Kya Doogi Mere Haathon Mein Bolo Tum Aapna Haath

Main Seedhe Saadhe Dhang Se, Kehta Hoon Aapni Baat

Ek Ghar Basaane Chahata Hoon, Main Tumhare Saath

( Kya Doogi Mere Haathon Mein Bolo Tum Aapna Haath ) – 3

A little chit chat with God….

One random night when I was sleeping tite. Find myself floating near the red building( located in my funny college ) .

Along with me was guy wearing white and a peaceful smile… ( He was God ). I felt happy..We glided through the air, God holding my hand. After some time I thought of asking him a few questions… So GOD said “Only 3 questions, as I have to attend other’s prayers.”

So the questions I asked him were as follows.

“When will war finish on earth?” and God answered me “…certainly not in your lifetime…”. Then I asked God the second question, which was “When will people stop starving on earth?” and God answered “…certainly not in your son’s lifetime”. ( gosh!! I am gonna have a son :P ). Very disappointed to hear this, so I asked God the last question: “God, will I be able to complete my FYP?” and God answered: “…certainly not in My lifetime!”
